Definitely one of the best songs of the year. Pierce the Veils 2016 Concert History Pierce the Veil was founded by Mike Fuentes and Vic Fuentes in 2006, after the disbandment of Before Today.
Along with the story within the song Pierce the Veil also show how musically talented they are once again with the great guitar riffs, bass, and drums that make up this great song. This song was inspired by the Paris attacks in 2015 specifically at the Bataclan Theatre, and a story about two hypothetical friends trying to save each other in that crazy situation. What made this song one of my favorites was the lyrics and the story it told. With so many great songs on this album it’s hard to single out just one as being the best, but Circles is a song that stood out the most through my first listen of the album. The songs are featured on various Pierce the Veil albums, and some of them have won golden oldies, as well as the support and recognition of many fans. Smoke machines, and confetti made the experience that much better for the fans. Having played Vans Warped Tour in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2015, Pierce the Veil has made a lasting impression on spectator’s, enough so to make them 2015’s headliners. It’s been four long years since Pierce the Veil’s last album and it was unquestionably worth the wait for their best album yet. Originally from San Diego, the members of Pierce the Veil are no strangers to the Warped Tour Stage. The album landed a 4 Billboard Top 200 debut in its first week of release, a staggering number even for a band that had made themselves exceedingly popular in the scene. With the thousands and thousands of songs that came out there were a few that stood out to me, so here are a few of my top songs for 2106 (in no particular order). Due to a number of factors, Pierce The Veil have not released a new album since 2016’s Misadventures. While 2016 definitely had some ups and downs in the music world, we lost legends like David Bowie, Lemmy, and Prince we also gained some great new artists and music as well.
